To put it simply, calamari is fried squid.When ordering calamari, you can expect bite-size helpings of squid that are battered and deep-fried. It has a slightly sweet flavor, with the breading adding a great compliment to the squid meat.

What type of seaweed is used?

It is Nori seaweed. It is used chiefly in Japanese cuisine as an ingredient to wrap rolls of Sushi. The finished dried sheets are made by a shredding and rack-drying process that resembles papermaking.

How do I store this product?

All our snacks may be stored at room temperature. Reseal after opening and consume within 7 days of opening for optimal freshness.

Where are your products produced?

They are all produced and packed in Osaka, Japan.

Should I be worried about radiation in my snacks?

No. Ingredients of all our snacks are radiation-free, and Osaka, where our factory is located, is over 400 miles far west from Fukushima area, where  2011 disaster occurred.
